Inspired by true events, the story revolves around Prajakta Deshpande (nee Sathe) and her two daughters Regha Sathe and Shikha Deshpande, who are facing death row charges for abducting and killing several children under the age of ten. New sides to their story emerge as two documentarians, Nikhat Ismail and Gundeep Saggar, are commissioned by the government to make a documentary on their case.
